I’m originally from California and have spent the last five years calling the Pacific Northwest home. I really love being near water, forests, islands, and all the strange little ecosystems that remind me there are endless ways to be alive.

I’ve lived on land and community projects for nearly a decade, and some of my favorite parts of life are still incredibly simple: side chats, long walks, shared meals, cooking for people, tending a place together, and conversations that become much deeper than anyone intended.

I’m a lifelong learner and an enthusiastic nerd about a lot of things. I have a particular love for curation, taxonomies, archives, cooking, and taking a giant pile of information and organizing it until a pattern appears. I genuinely enjoy figuring out how seemingly unrelated things connect.

I’m also a dancer, athlete, and lifelong outdoorist. I love movement, play, being outside, trying things with my body, and remembering that learning doesn’t always have to happen sitting down.

More than anything, I’m curious. I love people who get really excited about what they know, people discovering something new about themselves, questions without immediate answers, and ideas that wander across disciplines.

I suppose that’s the through-line in most things I do: I notice things, connect things, get very excited about what I find, and usually end up making something out of it.
